Embrace the Future of Aviation

The urgent need to reduce climate impact is beyond dispute, demanding swift and extensive action. However, there is still time to make changes, we have all the solutions we need, but we need to find new ways to collaborate and start using our solutions at hand. Easier said than done. By fostering a cross-functional community—one that brings together diverse perspectives and expertise—we can accelerate new thinking and drive the innovation needed to speed up this critical transition. This collaborative effort is essential if we are to continue reaping the global benefits that aviation has historically brought to the world. It is our license to fly.

By advancing and adopting cutting-edge technologies, we can not only ensure the future of air travel but also open up new opportunities to connect thousands of smaller communities—places that currently have little or no scheduled air service. Instead of abandoning air travel, our focus should be on making it more sustainable and inclusive, ensuring that even the smallest communities benefit from the efficient, eco-friendly connections that aviation can provide.

Welcome to Flight Plan ’24 – a pioneering gathering that unites the supply and demand sides of aviation for a transformative dialogue. This is not just a conference; it’s a community-driven gathering where public and private sectors collaborate to push the boundaries of what’s possible in air travel.

Why Gotland?

Where better to envision the future than on an island rich in history? Visby, the medieval gem of Gotland, provides an ideal setting for this groundbreaking event. In this place where the past seamlessly blends with the future, we will explore how the next era of aviation can connect communities in ways that are sustainable, efficient, and innovative.

The Call to Action

As we prepare to gather in November, we invite you to join a Nordic-led initiative that’s accelerating the shift towards greener aviation. This event is about more than discussion—it’s about action, and your participation is crucial.

Building a Global Green Aviation Community

Over these two days, we aim to strengthen the community dedicated to transforming aviation. With participants from across the public and private sectors, we’re creating a space for shared learning, innovative collaboration, and actionable outcomes.
